Dr Murugappan

Dr Murugappan trained at Newcastle University where she also completed her GP training and then moved to Norfolk in 2010.

Dr Murugappan has worked at a couple of practices in Norwich and joined Ludham & Stalham Green surgeries.

She has an interest in Contraception and Women’s Health.

Outside of work, her family and two young children keep her occupied.

Dr Tait

Dr Tait trained at Cambridge University, qualifying in 2003.

She has lived and worked in Norfolk since 2010.

Dr Tait fits intrauterine contraception (coils) and contraceptive implants.

Emma

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Emma joined the practice in 2014 and is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

She has been a qualified nurse since 2000, working as a senior sister in a hospital setting and then as a practice nurse for 16 years. Working at both sites Emma assesses, diagnoses, prescribes and treats urgent ‘on the day’ problems.

Sue

Practice Nurse

Sue joined the practice in 2017 after relocating to Norfolk from Bedford. She has 14 years district nursing experience and 2 years as a practice nurse prior to her move. Sue works across both sites and is competent in all aspects of practice nursing, including: wound management, child immunisations, travel assessments and associated immunisations, venepuncture and disease management such as diabetic and healthy heart reviews.

Julie

Practice Nurse

Julie qualified as a nurse in 2007 from the UEA and worked in various departments in the NNUH for 14 years – her previous role was Sister in Gynaecology.

Julie joined the surgery in Dec 2001 as a practice nurse and has since become respiratory nurse for the surgery as well as undertaking other practice nurse duties.

Emily

Practice Nurse

Emily joined the practice in 2020 after relocating to Norfolk from Hertfordshire. She qualified as a nurse in 2017 and spent her first 3 years as a community nurse and the last year as senior community nurse/ team manager in Hertfordshire. Emily works across both sites and is competent in most aspects of practice nursing, including: wound management, child and adult immunisations, venepuncture and disease management such as diabetic and healthy heart reviews.

Elise

Nursing Assistant

Elise joined the practice in 2001 and works at Stalham Green Surgery as a nursing assistant and dispenser. Elise’s clinics are held all day Monday, with morning clinics on a Wednesday and Friday. Appointments can be booked for blood tests, warfarin monitoring and dosing, blood pressure, new patient checks, suture removal, dressings, ECGs and seasonal and swine flu vaccinations (swine flu vaccinations are ususally done during pre-booked clinics only).

Susan

Nursing Assistant

Susan joined the practice in January 2013, and she now works in the office at Ludham Surgery and covers the HCA post whenever Kerrie is away or working in dispensary. Susan does blood tests, ECGs, BP checks, flu jabs, warfarin monitoring and assists doctors with minor operations.
