Hearing Aid Clinic
There will be a drop in Hearing Aid Clinic for people with NHS hearing aids at the Community Room in School Close (sheltered housing) in Ludham. A volunteer will check hearing NHS hearing aids, including batteries and tubes etc.
This will take place on the first Friday of the month and will be every two months thereafter. The clinics start at 10am and will finish at 12 noon.
Hearing Aid Batteries are now available from Ludham and Stalham Green Surgeries:

Patients can be issued with two blister packs of six hearing aid batteries on production of a battery book/card or another book with their hearing aid details attached.
We have been advised by the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital that it is safe to dispose of spent batteries with you household waste - please do not bring these to the surgery.

Potter Heigham Good Neighbour Scheme
The good neighbour scheme can help you with things like
- mowing the lawn
- changing a lightbulb
- filling in forms
- taking you to hospital or to doctors appointments
- collecting medicines
- your shopping by either taking you or collecting for you
Whatever you need we will try to offer help or a solution.
All the volunteers are village residents and have been police checked, you can contact them between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) on 07884 246 687
They are here to help regardless of age or circumstance and they would love to hear from you.
If you want to know more about the scheme or need their assistance, don't hesitate to cotnact them and have a chat with one of their volunteers. This scheme is backed by Norfolk Rural Community Council and Victory Housing and is run by vlillage residents.
Benefits Help and Advice Team
North Norfolk District Council has a group of advisors called the Benefits Help and Advice Team. They are available, by appointment, for general help and advice on Housing and Council Tax benefits. They may also be able to advise you about any other benefits which you may be entitled to.
If you have difficulties visiting our offices the Benefits Help and Advice team may be able to help you, either over the phone or through an arranged home visit. Some of the benefits that they can offer advice to you on are:

- Income Support Jobseekers Allowance
- Incapacity Benefit/Employment Support Allowance
